Barbara Webber

Barbara Webber is a dedicated educator and literacy specialist with more than 15 years of experience helping students become confident, capable readers and writers. She specializes in literacy intervention, writing development, and supporting students with learning differences, including dyslexia and dysgraphia.

Throughout her career, Barbara has worked with students across a wide range of grade levels, from preschool through high school. Her experience includes serving as a Literacy Specialist, High School English and Creative Writing teacher, tutor, mentor, and educational leader. She is passionate about meeting students where they are, identifying their unique strengths, and providing individualized support that helps them achieve meaningful growth.

Barbara's approach combines evidence-based literacy instruction with encouragement, patience, and strong relationships. She works closely with students and families to build skills, confidence, and a positive mindset toward learning. Whether helping a struggling reader strengthen foundational skills, guiding a student through the writing process, or coaching learners toward greater academic independence, Barbara is committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

Barbara holds a Master's degree in Education and Literacy from the University of Mary Washington and a Bachelor's degree in English and Education from Monmouth University. She is certified as a Literacy Specialist and continues to bring her extensive classroom and intervention experience to every student she serves.
